The changes in the NEET syllabus followed by the modifications made in the NCERT textbooks after the rationalization of CBSE syllabus brings students a great relief.
The National Medical Commission (NMC) has already released the NEET UG syllabus for the upcoming 2024 medical entrance exams in the previous week . Every year, the National Testing Agency (NTA) announces the NEET UG syllabus, but this year NMC’s Under Graduate Medical Education Board (UGMEB) published the syllabus on their official website mcc.nic.in
for NEET 2024 .
After the pandemic hit of COVID 2019 CBSE reduced their syllabus for the students of Classes 11 and 12 in the year 2020 but the NEET syllabus still remained the same.
After the reduction of CBSE syllabus in 2020, NTA still included the portion as part of NEET questions. But now with the modified NEET UG 2024 syllabus, the NEET UG 2024 aspirants got a huge relief in their preparation as they can also prepare through the NCERT books as study materials . Further, preparing for CBSE Class 12 exams and medical entrance exams from two different syllabi was really a difficult task, so adapting the changes done in the NCERT by NTA brings a succour for the aspirants getting ready for medical entrance exams and dreaming to be in the noble profession.
NTA has already announced the NEET 2024 exam date. NEET UG 2024 will be held on May 5, 2024 and NTA might start the registration process by December 2023.
NEET UG 2024 question comprehends four subjects —1. Physics, 2. Chemistry, 3. Botany and 4. Zoology and NMC has made minor changes to the NEET 2024 syllabus by adding and deleting some portions.

For Physics, no chapter has been deleted in entirety. Only a few topics including rolling motion, Reynold's number, heat engine and refrigerator, forced and damped oscillation and doppler effect are excluded for the NEET UG 2024 Physics syllabus.
